The Children & Nature Network is inspiring the global movement to increase equitable access to nature so that children - and natural places - can thrive.

The C&NN International Leadership Summit will engage 400 people in productive working sessions in six action areas: Green Schoolyards, City Government, Next Generation Leadership, Grassroots Leaders, Healthcare Providers, Nature-based Learning Research. Summit participants will work over two days to develop shared goals, action agendas and explore methods for measuring progress in their Action Areas.

Since you are participating in a specific Action Area, your schedule will be completed for you-- this means that you will not need to sign up for any Summit sessions in Sched. By the beginning of May, we will link your Sched profile to your Action Area.

Dr. Emily Schell is Executive Director of the California Global Education Project, one of nine discipline-specific K-12 professional learning networks of the California Subject Matter Project. Schell is a former GATE teacher, Social Studies Resource Teacher, and site principal in San Diego Unified. She also served as K-12 History-Social Science Coordinator for the San Diego County Office of Education, Liaison for National Geographic Education, and Teacher Education Faculty at San Diego State University. She continues to work in the College of Education at SDSU and oversees university-based regional sites across the state to support global education programs and educators.
