The Children & Nature Network is inspiring the global movement to increase equitable access to nature so that children - and natural places - can thrive.

The C&NN International Leadership Summit will engage 400 people in productive working sessions in six action areas: Green Schoolyards, City Government, Next Generation Leadership, Grassroots Leaders, Healthcare Providers, Nature-based Learning Research. Summit participants will work over two days to develop shared goals, action agendas and explore methods for measuring progress in their Action Areas.

Since you are participating in a specific Action Area, your schedule will be completed for you-- this means that you will not need to sign up for any Summit sessions in Sched. By the beginning of May, we will link your Sched profile to your Action Area.

People should talk to me about NatureStart™ Professional Development program. Since 2011, NatureStart has reached over 1,300 educators from across the US as well as internationally. Educators from zoos, aquariums, nature centers (informal science and nature-based settings) as well as early childhood educators especially those from Head Start and Early Head Start programs. This competency-based approach supports adult learners as they develop skills, understanding, and confidence to develop and facilitate nature play and nature-based early learning experiences in the nature in children's neighborhoods as well as in those spaces and settings in nature. We focus on the role families take in connecting their children to nature and seeing the whole child's development in these experiences.
